E-Commerce/Social Media Manager
Shonamac.com are searching for an E-Commerce/Social Media Manager to oversee the running of our digital space. This is a diverse role that encompasses the day to day update of our website, social media and marketing content creation and execution and general office admin. The role will take place in SW London across both our retail space in SW17 and our office in SW18.
Company Overview:
Shonamac is a boutique luxury style reseller with almost 20 years of experience in the preloved marketplace. We have operated online since 2002, growing from an eBay page to an international website with over 40000 happy customers. In 2016 the company expanded to include a bricks and mortar space in Wandsworth Common. A love of fashion coupled with a drive for sustainability and reuse have always been at the heart of everything we do.
The role:
We are searching for a full-time E-Commerce/Social Media Manager to support the running of our website and social media. This is a flexible role which may also include occasional shop cover, visual merchandising and general administrative tasks. You will be reporting directly to and working closely with the CEO.

Managing our weekly product upload to our Shopify hosted website by creating product listings, photographing all new stock and editing product photos

Creating and scheduling social media content (Instagram) and blogs

Designing visual appealing on-brand flatlays and website banners for use across our site and newsletters

Co-ordinating stock transportation between the shop and office to ensure a smooth workflow

Packaging and sending online orders

Maintaining a tidy and organised office environment and ensuring relevant supplies are stocked and replenished

Assisting with customer and client relations and queries

Maintaining efficient communication with the rest of the team in regards to timelines, targets and company metrics

Occasional point of sale cover at our Bellevue Road shop
The ideal candidate:
-
Have minimum of 1 year in an e-commerce role - Shopify is a bonus

Competent in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and content creation software (Canva or equivalent)

Familiar with social media platforms and software - Instagram, Facebook, Later, Lnk.bio

Keen interest in fashion/the resale movement with knowledge of premium and high end designers (not essential but recommended)

Confident copywriter in product descriptions and occasional blogposts

A motivated self-starter who is comfortable with both independent working and within a team

Flexible and able to prioritise responsibilities and multi-task when necessary

Strong time management and organisational skills

A creative/visual eye for content creation and branding

Although not a front facing role, strong interpersonal skills are important
