This is an incredible Egyptian Revival statement necklace by Miriam Haskell of 11 mm gilded brass book chain links with a small central pharoah medallion with hanging glass briolette and moulded glass drops. Sliding clasp to fasten. Measures 42cm long and 4.5cm drop. Marked Miriam Haskell. A little bit of surface wear to the gold tone plating from normal wear, otherwise the necklace is in excellent condition.
It is a gorgeous statement piece that was designed by Larry Vrba who worked for Miriam Haskell from 1970 to 1978, and it was part of the Egyptian collection, inspired by the King Tut exhibition that was touring the US at the time.
